Access to Sexual and Reproductive Health Services
for Youth: Reality or Rhetoric?

Between 2007 and 2010 Zimbabwe has known a dramatic decline in its HIV prevalence, and even more significant is the drop of new infections. The correlation between sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) and HIV is widely recognized. But how are youth involved in the SRHR programming by state and non state actors? What are the specific needs and challenges of youth in this respect and how are they being addressed?

Our guest Beatrice Savadye is working with SAYWHAT (Students and Youth Working on Reproductive Health Action Team) in Zimbabwe. She will present a practical approach aiming at scaling up youth friendly SRHR programming in tertiary institutions.
